Crawford's CEVC Primary School

Together we care, inspire and achieve

PTFA

The Parent Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) at Crawford's consists of parents, relatives and friends who want to do a bit extra for the school working in collaboration with the teachers.  It focuses on fundraising to get the extra things for school that the school budget cannot stretch to.

Previous projects that the PTFA have supported the school with include:

  • Obtaining a grant for £4,000 to the Foyle Foundation to refurbish the library.  We are very grateful to the Foyle Foundation for providing this grant and our library is now greatly improved as a result. Fundraising by the PTFA at Haughley summer fair resulted in a donation of £200 to the school to go towards some new cushions and shelves for the library.
  • The PTFA have also raised funds to purchase a unit to house and charge the school iPads.

The PTFA are currently fundraising to improve the outdoor spaces at Crawford's; work to complete the canopy in the main playground is now complete.

The next target is to raise a further £3,500 to transform the front garden.

If you would like to be involved, please see the Headteacher, Mrs Ling.
